PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Roots Picnic got off to a rocky start Saturday night at Fairmount Park after a gun scare resulted in several people hospitalized. Five people were injured in a stampede after police say a person falsely claimed they had a gun shortly after 6:30 p.m.

A gun scare at the Roots Picnic resulted in the hospitalization of several festivalgoers on Saturday evening, according to CBS Philly. Five people were reportedly injured during a stampede as a result of the false gun threat that took place around 6:30 p.m. ET in the midst of 21 Savage’s set.
