12 dead, 30 injured in a stampede at Satsang Ashram in Jharkhand
The tragedy occurred when over two lakh devotees assembled at the samadhi of Sri Sri Thakur Ankul Chandra for the annual birthday celebrations of the revered guru.
Jharkhand: Stampede at Satsang Ashram in Deoghar, 9 dead
Nine devotees were killed in a stampede on Monday morning at Thakur Anukulchandra Satsang Ashram in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Eight women and one man were among the dead. 15 pilgrims who were injured in the accident have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
Deoghar: Stampede in satsang, 12 killed
Deoghar/Dhanbad, Jagran Team. Twelve people were killed, while 50 others were seriously injured in a stampede during a satsang in Jharkhand’s Deoghar on Monday morning. The injured have been admitted to the charitable hospital of the ashram. The condition of many of them remains critical. The police reached the spot and took the bodies in their possession.
