The use of the word stampede and panic is not what you will find to be the causes of the incidents shown. The information provided is reflecting the articles written and it is being left to you to interoperate what you see and read and come to your own conclusions. Please also not that this list only refers to gatherings involving events such as concerts, sports, night clubs (entertainment). There is only inclusion of some significant events out with this.

Puri Rath Yatra crowd surge 15/07/2026

Severe congestion and one or more temporary crowd surges developed while very large numbers of devotees gathered along Grand Road. Devotees experienced breathlessness, suffocation, exhaustion, falls or other medical distress and were removed by police, fire-service rescuers and volunteers. Some received oxygen and first aid before hospital transfer. The Odisha government rejected descriptions of the occurrence as a stampede or systemic crowd-management breakdown.

Derry City v CSKA Sofia disorder 15/07/2026

Disorder first occurred between rival supporters in Bishop Street at approximately 6:45pm, before kick-off. A PSNI officer was injured and required hospital treatment. Further disorder occurred inside the stadium during the second half. Objects were thrown, barriers or supporter separation arrangements were challenged, and home spectators—including families and children—went onto the pitch for safety. Police entered the stadium at Derry City’s request, and the match resumed after an interruption officially recorded as approximately 14 minutes.

Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao pub fire 12/07/2026

Fire and dense smoke spread rapidly through the live-music restaurant shortly before midnight. A short circuit associated with a ceiling-mounted air-conditioning unit near the stage is the leading preliminary explanation, but police had not issued a final forensic determination by 15 July. Investigators were also examining combustible acoustic and decorative materials and alleged deficiencies involving exits and escape routes. 

Caupolicán fair vehicle incursion 12/07/26

At approximately 08:38, a privately owned white SUV driven by an active-duty Chilean Navy corporal who was off duty travelled at reported high speed, mounted the pavement and struck pedestrians, traders and stalls at the Caupolicán fair. The vehicle rotated after leaving the roadway and was stopped by a public-transport shelter. Six adults died and seven people were injured.

Tour de France Ussel press-vehicle spectator collision 12/07/2026

Shortly before the riders reached the Ussel finish of Stage 9, an accredited press vehicle carrying journalists working for L’Équipe struck metal barriers separating the course from spectators. Eight spectators behind the barriers were injured. The Corrèze prefecture said the driver had suffered a medical episode, while police reporting described that explanation as the leading hypothesis. The Tulle prosecutor’s office opened an investigation. 

Ángel de la Independencia crowd crush 30/06/26

Very large crowds converged on central Mexico City after Mexico defeated Ecuador 2–0. Three people were found unconscious at separate points near the Ángel de la Independencia and subsequently died from reported asphyxiation. Police later described abrupt crowd movements between approximately 22:00 and 23:00, including pressure around Lancaster and movement associated with a broken café window, but said the precise sequence remained under investigation. A fourth person suffered a separate medical emergency near Reforma 222 and later died in hospital. 

World Cup public-viewing crowd crush at Hashemite Square 23/06/2026

Thousands of supporters gathered around giant screens to watch Jordan’s 2026 FIFA World Cup match against Algeria. Emergency teams transported nine people to hospital after heavy congestion and crowd movement inside Hashemite Square. One casualty subsequently died. Initial official reporting described the other casualties’ conditions as good to moderate.

Yashwadi Hanuman Temple assembly-hall collapse 20/06/2026

Part of an under-construction sabha mandap, or assembly hall, in front of the main Hanuman temple collapsed while devotees were gathered for Saturday worship, darshan, distribution of prasad and a community meal. Heavy stonework and temporary supporting material fell onto worshippers. Police, disaster-management personnel, public-works staff, fire services and local residents conducted the rescue.

East Lake Community Church tent collapse 12/06/2026

At approximately 6:40–6:45 p.m., a large temporary event tent collapsed during EastLake Community Church’s twentieth-anniversary outdoor service. Bedford County attributed the structural failure to heavy rain, lightning and strong winds associated with a severe storm cell. Attendees were beginning to leave when the collapse occurred. One person died at the scene, 11 people were transported to hospitals and another 11 were treated at the scene.

Isle of Man TT Albert Square spectator collision 25/05/2026

During the opening free-practice programme, a competitor crashed shortly after leaving Parliament Square. Specialist motorsport reporting said the motorcycle entered a spectator area and pushed crowd-control barriers back into spectators. Eight spectators and the rider were taken to Noble’s Hospital. The remaining on-course activity for the day was cancelled, and the affected Albert Square viewing area was prohibited for the rest of the 2026 TT.

Pointfest crowd-surfing fatality 16/05/2026

Danielle Uskiwich, 28, attended Pointfest on 16 May and was reportedly struck in the head by a crowd surfer while watching Sleep Theory. She was admitted to hospital on 19 May after worsening headaches, where a brain bleed was identified. She subsequently suffered two strokes, underwent emergency surgery and died on 26 May. Initial family information said the brain bleed was likely related to the impact. Later family statements said pre-existing blood clots caused the strokes and that the crowd-surfing impact was not the ultimate cause of death. (

Popayán monster-truck spectator collision 03/05/2026

During a monster-truck exhibition, the vehicle known as La Dragona crossed or overran the barrier separating the performance area from spectators, struck people in the audience and subsequently hit a utility pole. The technical cause remains under investigation; mechanical or braking failure has been reported as a hypothesis rather than a confirmed finding.

Rally Sudamericano spectator collision 19/04/26

A Volkswagen Polo driven by Paraguayan competitor Didier Arias, with Héctor Núñez as co-driver, left the road during the Giulio Cesare stage, struck or mounted rocky terrain and rolled repeatedly into an area occupied by spectators. Three spectators were struck. Emergency and medical procedures were activated, and the competition was definitively stopped.

itadelle Laferrière crowd crush 11/04/2026

An exceptionally large crowd, containing many students, children and young visitors, assembled at the fortress during the traditional post-Holy Week visiting period and for a paid gathering promoted through TikTok and mobile loudspeakers. Reports describe severe congestion at a single narrow access point used by people entering and leaving. Rain worsened movement conditions. People were compressed, lost consciousness, suffocated or were trampled. The Haitian National Police subsequently revised the initial death estimate of approximately 30 to 25.

Lao New Year parade vehicle incursion 04/04/2026

A vehicle driven by a 57-year-old man entered an occupied section of the Lao New Year parade and struck multiple pedestrians. Video from the aftermath showed numerous casualties on the road and firefighters helping a person trapped beneath the vehicle after it came to rest in a ditch. Authorities said the available evidence did not indicate an intentional attack. (

Alejandro Villanueva Stadium mass-casualty incident 03/04/26

One person died and 47 were reported injured during a densely attended flag display in the south stand. Early emergency reports described a wall or structure collapse. Fire-service representatives and Alianza Lima subsequently said they found no collapsed wall, fallen stadium section, structural debris or evident failure of the stand. Police later described a preliminary crowd-pressure mechanism involving supporters moving down the terraces with a large flag, a crowd-containment object apparently giving way and people becoming compressed or unable to breathe. No final public prosecutorial or engineering determination was located.

Sheetla Mata Temple crowd crush 31/03/2026

A much larger congregation than usual assembled for worship on the final Tuesday of the Hindu month of Chaitra. Later reporting said queues had broken down and a rapid movement developed as worshippers sought early access to the shrine. Barricade pressure, inadequate queue management and insufficient security deployment were reported or alleged. Eight women died initially; the reported toll later rose to nine when another injured worshipper died in hospital.

Wedding-venue floor collapse at The Preserve at Chocorua 21/03/2026

At the start of a wedding ceremony, part of the wooden floor inside the Sap House buckled and collapsed into the basement. Officials counted 144 guests in the building, with nearly 70 falling or sliding through an opening measuring approximately 20 feet by 20 feet. Some people were temporarily trapped beneath fallen beams and agricultural equipment stored below. 

Lighting-truss collapse at Archi Club 01/03/2026

A metal truss carrying lighting and reportedly sound equipment collapsed into the VIP or table area behind the DJ booth while British DJ Max Dean was performing. Video showed the structure falling abruptly onto patrons. Approximately 700 people were evacuated, and police, firefighters and ten SAME emergency-medical units attended. 

Ahrauli temple roof collapse 09/02/26

Devotees were praying and prasad was being distributed while construction or demolition work connected with a new temple dome was in progress. A section of the old slab roof collapsed onto adults and children inside. Three girls died at the scene. Villagers removed debris and rescued survivors before or alongside the arrival of police and administrative personnel.

Electric Bristol nightclub queue surge 28/01/26

Witnesses said the external queue became increasingly compressed around the reported 23:30 last-entry time. People described difficulty breathing, repeated pushing and a surge near the front of the queue. Police were called shortly after 23:50 following reports that barriers had been knocked over and people pushed. Officers supported venue security, dispersed the crowd, and the venue stopped admitting people.

Le Constellation Fire Incident 01/01/26

The 2026 Crans-Montana bar fire was a catastrophic incident that occurred in the early hours of January 2026 at Le Constellation bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana. During New Year’s Eve celebrations, a fire broke out shortly after 01:30, spreading rapidly through the crowded venue. Forty people were killed and at least 119 injured, many seriously. Early findings indicate the blaze may have been triggered by bottles carrying lit sparklers being raised near the ceiling, igniting combustible materials and causing the fire to take hold within seconds. A large-scale emergency response followed, with casualties transferred to hospitals across Switzerland and neighbouring countries, while investigations into fire safety measures and building conditions continue.

Pinkhouse Dallas 01/01/2026

In the early hours of 1 January 2026, at approximately 3:45am, a shooting occurred in the parking lot outside Pinkhouse Dallas, an after-hours nightclub and adult entertainment venue in Dallas, Texas. The gunfire broke out following New Year’s celebrations, leaving four people shot, with at least one initially reported in critical condition. Subsequent media coverage identified one of the victims as local rapper Zec’Qurie “Zeethewizard” Fields, who was later reported to have died from his injuries. Dallas Police confirmed an active investigation, with follow-up reports referencing suspect identification and arrest developments as the case progressed.
